Shiptekno (formerly Finnlines Work Shop) has a long tradition of ship service, maintenance and repair.

Our main service has traditionally been pipe repair, of all sizes.

Additionally we provide vast variety of metal works, constructions and repairs of all sorts, from mast to keel.

The pipe works range from the smallest hydraulic pipe, to common water, to steam or sea waterpipes to large ballast or funnel pipes up to and over 1 m in diameter. Fe, Alu, Cu, Hst or Rst, CuNiFer is no problem.

Normal metal works include pump- and motor stands, platforms, railings, tank jobs, alterations, modifications and improvements of any applications on board, all in co-operation with crew, supervision authorities and prevailing classification society. We also do larger installations as subcontractors, such as sprinkler systems, fan-, pump-, separator installations etc.

From our different bases we can quickly and easily co-ordinate all jobs accordingly the customers preferences. At our work shops we have the typical tool pool and an elaborate network of contacts to carry out the simplest tasks to the the most specialized project or part hunt. In co-operation with our sistercompany Laivakone Oy we can be at service in two places in Finland, and the same services are also available at our work shop in Lübeck, Germany.
